An avenue is a path ultimately leading to the main street. This is a picture of a particular process young adults share together; on a path determining the direction the rest of life will take. To navigate this process, The Avenue Young Adults meets weekly on the campus of Grace Family Church in Port Saint Lucie, FL, and exists as a community where young adults come to love the Lord, the church and the lost together.

We value the local church, and we see seek to serve local churches by equipping young adults through Worship, Word, Fellowship, and Application. These values affect everything we do as a ministry.
We expressively acknowledge the worth of Jesus together as a response to His work on the cross.

We explicitly hold Scripture high as the authority of truth and seek to learn and depend on what God has said.

We lovingly build and maintain relationships with one another as a means of sharing the joy of Jesus together.

We immediately respond to what we learn in order to see God glorified wherever we go.

The Avenue utilizes a team of staff and volunteers who attend Grace Family Church to accomplish its goal of seeing young adults love the Lord, love the Church, and love the lost together by plugging them into various local churches in the community.
Andrew Garrigan
Director & Teacher

Andrew is convinced that God's primary means of moving is the local church, and has a heart to see that vision restored among young adults. In 2015, Andrew was hired full time at Grace Family Church to oversee the Avenue Young Adults, as well as Audio Production and the newly formed Communications and Social Media department. His responsibilities keep him busy, but when He is not working he enjoys reading, computers, shooting (guns and hoops), and watching HOUSE reruns.
Tyler Collins
Assistant to the Director

Tyler's story is one of rebellion followed by redemption. He was born again at a youth group service at Grace Family Church in 2011, and has since been one of the most active young adults in attendance.Tyler loves missions and outreach, and also makes a hobby of writing and delivering spoken-word poetry. As Andrew's assistant, he oversees setup and tear-down each week and also is a frequent guest speaker. He is currently working as an EMT on transport ambulances, and is on his way to finishing Paramedic school.
Stephen Garrigan
Worship & Technical

Stephen desires to see the body of Christ worship Jesus fully by being grounded in truth and free in the Spirit. He was also brought in by Grace Family Church in 2015 for a two-year paid internship, and oversees all worship-related teams. Besides worship music, he plays nearly any musical instrument he can get his hands on, and loves new tunes. He also likes basketball, and enjoys watching NCIS and Parks and Recreation.
